Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 October 2026

In short

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between RooWorks Pty Ltd ("RooWorks", "we", "us") and the business that signs up for CrewConnect ("you"). By creating an account or using CrewConnect, you agree to them on behalf of your business. If you add staff, they use CrewConnect as part of your account, and you're responsible for their use of it.

2. The service

CrewConnect is an online service for rostering, staff time clocks, timesheets and payroll summaries and, on Pro, shift checklists, stock control and purchase orders. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature you pay for, we'll tell you first and, where fair, adjust your price.

3. Plans and prices

Prices are in Australian dollars, and GST is added where it applies. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing what you pay.

4. Free setup

On every plan we'll set up your account for you at no extra cost: your locations, staff, settings, checklists, stock items and suppliers, from information you give us, and help you launch your first roster. You're responsible for checking that what we set up — especially pay rates and payroll settings — is correct.

5. Billing and cancelling

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, based on your number of active users. There's no minimum term: you can cancel or move to Starter at any time, and the change takes effect at the end of your current billing month. Fees already paid aren't refunded, except where the law requires it. If an invoice remains unpaid after we've reminded you, we may move your account to Starter or suspend it until it's paid.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Wages, awards and payroll

CrewConnect's wage figures are estimates based on the rates and settings you enter. CrewConnect doesn't interpret awards or enterprise agreements, doesn't pay your staff, and doesn't lodge anything with the ATO. You remain responsible for paying your staff correctly and meeting your obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009, tax and superannuation laws.

8. Your data

Your business owns the information it puts into CrewConnect. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide CrewConnect to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy at any time. When you close your account, we'll delete or de-identify your information within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

9. Support and availability

Support is provided by our team in Australia by email and booked calls, and we reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, excluding New South Wales public holidays). We work to keep CrewConnect available and reliable, but it may sometimes be unavailable — for example during maintenance or because of problems with our providers. We'll try to give notice of planned maintenance.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Where we're allowed to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

11. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss — such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data — and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, or that puts CrewConnect or other customers at risk, after giving notice where it's reasonable to do so. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and email business customers about significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using CrewConnect after that, the new terms apply.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction.
